Expanded Circulation for Asia's Leading Enterprise IT Magazines

Singapore (PRWEB) September 28, 2008 -- Asia's leading Enterprise IT publisher -- Fairfax Business Media Asia (FBM Asia) -- has expanded its regional newsstand and paid circulation channels to satisfy demand for the broader availability of its print titles.

The move makes FBM titles -- MIS Asia, CIO Asia, Computerworld Singapore, and Computerworld Malaysia -- available in major regional bookstores across Asia.

These outlets include: Singapore (Borders, Kinokuniya, MPH Bookstore, Page One and Times Newslinks); Malaysia (MPH, Popular, Kinokuniya, Borders, My News and Guardian); and Hong Kong (Dymocks , Page One, Cosmos Books, Jumbo Grade and Commercial Press).

MIS Asia will continue to be available in the Singapore Airlines Kris Lounges in all three Changi Airport terminals.

FBM Asia's Director and Publisher, Andrew Smart, said that although FBM was a B2B publisher with controlled circulations, the expanded retail distribution was in response to the increasing demand for the magazines by senior IT executive readers.

Smart said the circulation expansion would also make it more convenient for new readers to access the hard copy publications, which were the brand anchor within FBM Asia's integrated media model including online and event channels.

"We launched our new enterprise IT web portal -- www.mis-asia.com -- in early August and we are pleased its key engagement measures are performing well ahead of expectations," he said. "We will also soon be launching several new e-newsletters as part of our commitment to provide our readers with convenience and targeted, up-to-date enterprise IT information."
